Question by Anon.: How to start my online business?
I am starting my own online business that sells beauty products and other similiar products. What are the first steps I need to take to get it going. I know I need to register the domain and get the website up but do I need to register anything with the state I live in for tax reasons? not sure how to do that. If anyone has any personal advice from experience or suggestions of what I should do next that would be great. I’ve got the advertising and marketing down and my products.

Some of the things you will need would be a payment processor (Paypal, Google Checkout, Clickbank and plenty of others but look around and check the rates before you create your account(s) ).
Then you will need a method of providing the shipping (and charging for it too). You will also need to be able to track your sales and orders and have a method of contacting your previous clients for repeat sales and promotions (This is usually called an autoresponder and one of the best is Aweber – http://mkweb.aweber.com )
And if you are doing any sales online, you want to make sure the site handling the process is using SSL (The padlock shows in the corner of your browser, the location bar may turn green, or the url to the actual order page begins with httpS:// (cap is just for emphasis).

An online business is quite easy to start, anybody and everybody can start an online business. You can also decide to be an affiliate marketer which is quite similar to having an online business. What I advise is you go to clickbank.com and choose a product which interests you and which you think will sell quite well. When you sell the product you get a hefty 50 – 70% commission!
I wouldn’t say it’s easy to make money online, however with persistence and the right knowledge, anyone can make it.
I myself used top class resources to help me earn money online.
